LETTER: Owen Lewis, Cyrnant, Llanwnda to Lord Newborough. He has lived at Cyrnant all his life and his ancestors for 200 years before him. The tenant of Caernant, Evan Jones, from whom he rents part of the farm, is now threatening to buy him out. He has already paid rent in advance for the farm. Asks Lord Newborough to intervene.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
