LETTER: Rev. Bayley Williams, Pantafon, to Lord Newborough. Llanrug school is to be reopened. They have found a trainee master but have had to promise him a large salary. There is no other school within three miles. The school is open to the children of dissenters as well as churchmen and there is no compulsion to attend Church. The fees are 2d per week but every subscriber can nominate 5 children for every pound subscribed and this will allow the poorest children to enter for 1d each. The school can hold 100.
