LETTER: M. Lloyd, Castle Sq., Caernarfon to Lord Newborough, informing his Lordship that he had let the old custom house to Owen Edwards, stone cutter at £20 p.a. from 12 Nov 1849. Owen Edwards was going to build a shed in the yard for his own work and asked his Lordship for about 30 larch poles for rafters. The last return for Llanfairisgaer was £154.10s.0d. and the collectors’ claim on that sum was correct.
