LETTER: John McColl to [J] de Winton. Discuses the specifications of a large ship. Asks De Winton to write to the War Office for him concerning an uncle of his who joined the 98th Regiment of Foot in 1794. He died in the East Indies on service there, and is believed to have left a lot of money. He wants the War Office to investigate.
