LETTER: William Elias, The Abbey, to Lord Newborough, discussing the payment of the contractor for the Melai building contract, and various points concerning the building work completed. He has done well in collecting the rents at Ffestiniog and Denbigh but the upland farmers were asking for more time. He was very strict with them however and managed to get most of the rents from them.
