LETTER: William Evans Morris, 24 Lombard Street, Porthmadog, to Dan and family. Tom came home last evening after hard sittings of the Land Commission in South Wales. Tom had visited the church at Llangeithio where D. Rowlands used to preach before he joined the Methodists. He also dined at Lampeter College. He will probably be going to Brecon and Radnorshire the following week. Arthur had arrived in London on Thursday evening on the John Williams and leaves on the 25th May. Disappointed that Maurice did not write to congratulate his mother. Still failing to acquire a house-maid and mentions farming activities at Ty-cerrig.

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
