LETTER: William Evans Morris, 24 Lombard St., Porthmadog to Dan and family. He will have to visit Liverpool before Gwen grows too big. Had heard from Arthur, who leaves for Hull tomorrow. Tom is leaving for either Cardiff or Swansea, and then to Llanelly [Llanelli] and Llandilo [Llandeilo]. Writes about his rheumatism, an accident with his false teeth, and his wife’s health. The maid from Pwllheli did not turn up after all. Refers to the report in the Echo about an accident the Rev. Thos. Jones had in a trap at Pentrefelin. The Rev. T. Nicholson and his wife had a reception aboard the John Williams.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
