LETTER: T. Lloyd Owen, Bodfean to Lord Newborough, informing him of the continuation of John David’s illness. He says that J.D. cannot lie down without considerable pain. Hughes is bringing another medical man, Williams of Plashen, to see him the following Wednesday. He says he is going to address the letter to Glyn and not to London. He adds that many of the poor are grateful to her Ladyship for what they received from the clothing club. He says that poaching is rife about the place.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
