LETTER: Daniel Morris, 11 Overton St., Liverpool to Nell. He writes of his longing for her. He had visited Amberley St. and Parliament St. and had purchased a birthday present for his father, who was 69 years old that day. He had visited Dr. Richard Williams regarding his eye. Writes about friends and family. He hopes to hear next Tuesday that Doctor [William, his brother] has been appointed Medical Officer for Tremadog district. W.R. Owen had written to him re his nominations as a Member of the Council of the Welsh National Society and asking for his consent, but he does not intend to be anything but an ordinary member. He has to audit their accounts next week. Asks if she had noticed in the Mercury that John was praised for his tact at the Ffestiniog Eisteddfod. He had written to his father to tell him of his great joy, but to keep it a secret until he had seen Mr. Edwards, her father.

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
