LETTER: G.H. Nanney, Gwynfryn to Lord Newborough. He writes that Mr. Owen Jones has accepted to settle for the drainage done at the gable end of his house in High Street. He exclaims that the smoke in Robert Griffith’s house in Market Street may have driven him out but it should not have prevented him paying the rent.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
