LETTER: Morgan Lloyd, Castle Square, Caernarfon to Lord Newborough. He writes that he has received an invoice for £10 Income Tax from the Surveyor of Taxes to be added to the return he has already made to his Lordship. He states that, as he has received no rum from his Lordship since April 1846, he hopes he may be exempt from the tax.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
