LETTER: William Elias, in Bangor to Lord [Newborough]. He comments on rents paid in and notes that crops promise well. He discusses the winding up of their Trusteeship on behalf of Jones, a young Anglesey farmer, who is now of age, and relates an incident involving Mr. Stanley, John Owen and a drunken keeper; the latter attempted to get into the Bakehouse and was eventually knocked out with his own life preserver. John Lloyd, Treiddon, spent much money on walls and ditches having exchanged some land [so as] to join his farm in several fields. He has also built a kiln for the limestone on his land and plans to supply the railway contractor.

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
