LETTER: G. Graham, at the Sportsman Hotel, Caernarfon to Lord Newborough. Graham presents himself as an old friend of his Lordship’s uncle, Mr. Chiappini, parted from him 1801. He writes how, after the war, he searched the West Indies, British America and Europe for Mr. Chiappini. He is now in England, on a vacation, and asks his Lordship for Chiappini’s address, enclosing a letter from his old friend to prove his credentials.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
