LETTER: Col. Pennant to Lord Newborough. He informs his Lordship that he has now withdrawn his name from the Provisional Committee (of the North Wales Railway Co.), having done enough to forward its progress and not wishing to be responsible for its future actions. Pennant refers to the building of a bridge (at Britannia), saying it would be unwise for his Lordship to oppose the bridge altogether.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
