LETTER: Hugh Jones, Caernarfon, to Lord Newborough. He writes on behalf of Lloyd Roberts, concerning the income tax and rent payment of Mr. Robert Griffith of South Penrallt. Griffith, unbeknown to Jones, had failed to pay his last income tax due and his Lordship has informed Jones. Jones informs his Lordship that he has paid the ½ due to Mr. Morgan Lloyd, acting on behalf of his Lordship’s agent.
