LETTER: Col. Pennant to Lord Newborough. Col. Pennant informs his Lordship that he has been directed by Mr. Wyatt to place £1000 at the disposal of the Masters of the County Roads. Pennant has, however, been angered by the Masters, who have referred to him as largest landowner who has not contributed to improving the County roads. He protests that at the time improvements were made he owned no land in the County.
