LETTER: William Elias, The Abbey, Llanrwst to Lord Newborough. Elias, concerning the proposed railway, writes that many tenants have been disturbed by stories that their houses may be lost and especially by a rumour that Stephenson was to build a tunnel. Elias thinks that he and Mr. G. Jones should put their heads together to assess the value of houses which may be lost to the railway.
