LETTER: Mr. Bromlow Wynne to Lord Newborough. Wynne writes on behalf of an Association formed at St. Asaph to protect the rivers Elwy and Clwyd. He states that most local landowners have already given their consent and asks his Lordship for a small annual subscription. He writes that the Association not only wishes to protect the sport of fishing but also the tenant farmers from the activities of poachers. Wynne explains that the tenants are often too timid to report the activities of poachers. Endorsed: NOTE of reply to above letter: saying that his Lordship proposes to write to his tenants about fishing matters if it will do any good.

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
