LETTER: William Elias, The Abbey, Llanrwst to [recte ?1845] Lord Newborough. Elias gives details concerning his brother from Bangor and Lloyd of Caernarfon. He complains that a woman living at Penygerddi has not paid her debts of some £20 before giving up her tenancy. He explains that the woman has a large doctor’s bill as a result of caring for the sick Thomas Jones and her daughter who was also ill; she is unwilling to ask for charitable help. Elias closes by giving news of his family, who are ill.
