LETTER: Hugh Manley, Caernarfon, to Lord Newborough. Manley tells his Lordship that the master of the Catherine and Mary has 28 tons of Runcorn coals on board, which he is anxious to sell to his Lordship. He writes of an enclosed letter [not present] from David Williams, emphasising the flourishing state of the North Wales Railway Co. Annexed: LETTER (11 March 1845): H. Manley to His Lordship, giving details of a Trustees’ decision to allow four pilots to reside at Llanddwyn and giving details of salaries ranging from £1 to 16/6 per month for the pilots.
