LETTER: Richard Griffith, Caernarfon to Lord Newborough. Griffith asks of his Lordship to be held in preference for the post of clerk to the chaplain to be appointed to attend to the Workhouse. Griffiths expresses his regret at troubling his Lordship previously but sees himself as suitable for the post being a Parishioner, favourable to charitable work. Endorsed: NOTE of reply to above letter: His Lordship makes it known to Griffith that it will be early enough to apply for any posts after the workhouse had been built and a chaplain appointed.
