LETTER: Rev. William Jones, Nefyn, to Lord Newborough. Jones informs his Lordship that he is erecting a residence for the teacher of the National School at Nefyn. He gives his reasons for doing so, saying that to have closed the school would have been a calamity. Jones explains that the costs of the undertaking will be £82, of which the London Societies have promised to pay £45. He then asks his Lordship, as principal landowner in the parish, to help make up the remainder of the total sum.
