LETTER: William Elias, of the Abbey, Llanrwst to Lord Newborough. Elias writes concerning the sale of land belonging to Sir R. Buckeley. He informs his Lordship of some particularly good land on sale and proposes to attend the sale himself in an attempt to buy it. He also gives details of the price his Lordship will probably have to pay for the purchase. Elias gives details of the building of a house at Penydre, stating that his present domicile is unsafe. Endorsed: NOTE of reply to above letter: His Lordship gives Elias leave to bid what he thinks the land is worth to any tenant, multiplied by thirty.
