LETTER: W. Chadwick of the Richmond and West End Junction Railway offices to Lord Newborough. He informs his Lordship that his wishes regarding the Porthdinllaen Railway will be strictly complied with by the Railway Company. Chadwick also trusts that he may use his Lordship’s name, along with other local landed gentry, to support the railway. Endorsed: DRAFT of letter in reply to above: His Lordship explains that he has no objections to the railway being constructed across his land and feels quite willing to lend his name, along with other landed proprietors of the county, in support of the scheme.
