LETTER: Thomas Abel of Caernarfon to Lord Newborough. Abel informs his Lordship that he has managed to evict Edward Roberts from a house in Boot Street. He then implores his Lordship not to take any further action against himself for his failure to pay the full rent on the due date, pleading that he has a large family to maintain and that times are bad. He asks his Lordship for a letter to be sent to Griffith Jones of Pwllheli to stay proceedings against him. Endorsed: NOTE of reply to above: His Lordship states that proceedings against Abel are going on and that judgement will soon be declared.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
