The motor vessel City of Colombo,an Ellerman Lines Cargo ship, 7,739 tons gross. Built in 1956 by Barclay Curle & Co. Ltd., Glasgow. Powered by a six cylinder Doxford engine giving l51/2 knots. 1977, sold to Ben Line Steamers Ltd., Leith and renamed Benmhor for service to the far east. Commercial post card, postmarked Darlington, 3rd February 1966. No negative
