LETTER: Col. P.J. Perceval to [Lord] Newborough. He has seen the housemaid and, while not handsome, she is sufficiently well-looking and respectable for the situation. She will see Mr. Owen to get his Lordship’s decision. No more of Tomlin’s Life of Pitt were published, but there is a third volume of Southey’s Peninsular War. There are two more volumes of Napier than he has got.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
