LETTER: Walter D. Griffith, Craig yr Halen to [Lord] Newborough. The Mountaineer has been moored and fastened at full length to the posts under his garden. He examined her and found her a good model of a perfect wreck. The engine room was the most interesting part and they will try to persuade his Lordship that her engines are as good as new and her hull little the worse but he doubts it. He advises his Lordship to inspect her. He has had a letter from Sir John [Williams of Bodelwyddan] - Lady Sarah has had a miscarriage.
