XD2/19831

LETTER: Owen Jones, Paradwys to Lord Newborough. He has been greatly disappointed over Plas Clynnog but will not proceed for damages. He requests another tenancy and has plenty of ready cash in the Banks. Endorsed: COPY of letter in reply to above (10 January, 1842). If he is talking about the Clynnog property, the new tenant has taken possession; if he wants a tenancy elsewhere he might be obliged but there are no vacancies expected.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
