LETTER: George Davidson from the Angel Tavern, Platform, Rotherhithe [Kent] to Capt. Lewis Owen, Sapphire yacht, Caernarfon, describing the yacht Charlotte and her fittings and furnishings. She is to be sold by Mr. Powell but her brass guns will not be sold with her, as they have his family’s arms on them. She cost Mr. Powell nearly £10,000. The lowest price he will accept is £8,000.
