LETTER: W. Oakeley, Glan William, Tanybwlch to the Hon. Sepncer Wynn, informing him that Mr. Griffith Griffiths, the contractor who was building the new county bridge over the Felinrhyd river on the line of the new road, wanted to take some stones from Gelligrin to make the arch. Most of the stones would come from Mr. Oakeley’s land, the tenant of his Lordship to give leave for the contractor to take the stone, the contractor having undertaken to prevent damage.
