LETTER: Mr. John Smedley, for the Committee of the Nantlle Railway Co., to Lord Newborough. He apologises for not being able to assemble a meeting of the Committee this week but hopes that it will be done next week, when an order will be made to pay the balance to his Lordship according to the account furnished by Mr. Bettiss. He says he has no authority to pay money without the authority of the committee.
