LETTER: William Roberts, quarryman, Bryntirion, pa.[rish] Llanwnda, to the Hon. Spencer Wynn, applying for rights to quarry on Lord Newborough’s ground at Fachwen, by the lower Llanberis lake, for slate. At present the quarries in the county are exhausted, and trade will sink still lower unless new quarries are opened.
