LETTER: Spencer Phillips, Glynllifon, to W Glynne Griffith, Bodegroes, confirming that George Bettiss has received an order in the Caernarvon Bank for £100 to be paid to Sir R Williams etc., and that a letter has been sent to Messrs Coutts asking them to replace the same amount without delay. He informs him that Lord Newborough approves of and thanks him for his letter to Mayor Hampton [of Beaumaris (Biwmares)]. He invites him to Glynllifon as they have important matters to discuss.
