LETTER: Farrars and Co., Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London, to George Bettiss, Caernarfon, informing him that a proposition had been made to Lord Newborough’s trustees to give up their contract at Plas Mawr and Bryn Bedda and in lieu to purchase those farms and Glanrafonbacior let to Elizabeth Griffith for £200 and Pant y Dreiniog, let to Robert Morris and Co for £140, for about £10,000. They ask for his opinion of the value of the last two farms, and whether they were eligible for Lord Newborough. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2995]
