LETTER: Spencer Wynn, at Whitchurch, [co. Oxon.], to Coutts Trotter, Strand, London. His mother’s affairs are in an unsettled state. She wants to live with him at Whitchurch, which is impossible. She should have written to Mr. Pownall about passports, and a carriage to meet her with at Dover. This is all stuff and nonsense; she must think they are idling their time away. He likes his new pony, bought at Reading Fair, and the groom is looking after it well. He feels he is improving through Mr. Salter’s attentions. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 3896]

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
