LETTER: John Jones, Rating Row, Beaumaris [Biwmares], to unknown recipient,acknowledging receipt of notes stating that the sum of £350 had been paid to Richard Williams, which with the sum of £350 which he himself had received made the sum of £700 which was the deposit money on £3500, the purchase money which the trustees of young Lord Newborough were to pay him for Tyddyn ab Engan, Tafarn Tudur and Terfyna. The recipient would probably also wish to purchase the land tax which was redeemed by Rowland Williams during his minority and the timber would be taken at a fair valuation. [N.L.W.
