LETTER: Farrar and Co., Lincoln’s Inn Fields, to Mr. George Bettiss, Caernarfon, acknowledging receipt of a letter with a sketch map of Plas Mawr Farm and naming the sum he thought Lord Newborough’s trustees might venture to give for it. As that farm was included with Bryn-y-Bidda Farm they had difficulty in determining how to act. Mr. Coutts Trotter and they had determined to bid up to £3000 or £3300. They had bought the two farms Bryn-y-Bidda (85a)and Plas Mawr (56a) for £2960 and paid a deposit thereon. They asked for his opinion on the subject. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2950]
