LETTER: David Hughes, Jesus College, [Oxford], to Mr. Johnson, Farrar and Co., Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London, to present an account of £500 received on account of Lord Newborough and his brother. He has laid all this out for them, and has not charged for journeys to London, costing in all about £35. The boys want to go to Glynllifon, but he is against this. They will not visit Mr. Belasyse or Lady Percival. The boys have lost their gold watches; he will get them silver ones. Dr. Wood’s bills for the two are near £120 and all in all about £300 will be required for the vacation. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 4480]
