LETTER: W B to Mr. Crewe, Chelsea Hospital, instructing him to state details of the charge White had made him pay to Messrs Farrars and Atkinson, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, and that he had no redress unless the executors allowed it as if they put it upon Glynn Wynn’s widow it would be hard on her, and that what was obtained was by Mr. Wynn’s orders. Enclosed: RECEIPT (25 March 1816): Williams and Whyte, London, to Mr. Crewe on account of Lord Newborough for the sum of £3.2.6d. as per bill. With a note that this was paid to Mr. Crewe, 11 October 1816. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 4886pt.]

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
