LETTER: Hugh Williams, Vicar of Clynnog, The Vicarage, Clynnog, to Wynn Belasyse, Esq., stating that he had contacted Lord Newborough’s trustees the previous year, asking for aid towards the repairs of Clynnog Church but had not received a reply. The proprietors of land in the parish were willing to subscribe at the rate of 5% according to their rental but expected Lord Newborough, as the chief land owner, to be the first. He asks that this application would be presented to the trustees and also gives a list of subscribers. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2408]
