LETTER: Robert Carreg, Caernarfon to [?Sir John Wynn], reporting on his journey to Conwy and Denbighshire. All the Conwy rents came in apart from H Jones of the Harp for a meadow and Mr. Hugh Evans for the Abbey. Mr. H Evans gave him Mr. Panton’s award re Cowlyd boundaries. William Jones has repaid the £20 advanced to his son with much thanks; he is against his son going to America, but as he is determined to go, would be grateful for a letter of introduction to any of [Sir John’s] acquaintances living there. Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
