LETTER: Willoughby Miller and John Matthews, Hon. Secretaries [of the Cambrian Institute for the Deaf and Dumb], to Lord [Newborough], requesting his Lordship’s acceptance of the office of Vice President. Statistics are given for the number of deaf and dumb persons in co. Cards.. The object of the Institute is to train children to earn their own living.
