LETTER: J[ohn] Jones, Agency Office, Ruthin, to Lord Newborough, agreeing to the request that any resolutions and accounts of the trustees of Bishop Goodman’s Charity would be forwarded to his Lordship. Re the terms of the appointment of Mr. Lloyd to superintend the works and property at Llanberis, he was instructed by the Reverend Edward Thelwall to forward a copy of a letter from Mr. Peers, as solicitor to the trustees, to Mr. Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd had referred the trustees to Mr. Penson, surveyor for the county. Appended: COPY LETTER (6 April 1856): Joseph Peers, Ruthin, to John Lloyd, Esq., County Surveyor, Caernarfon, as referred to above. The letter states the amount which the trustees would pay to John Lloyd for his services re the new buildings in Llanberis. The letter also states the method by which the tenants were to pay their rents. Mr. Roberts had had permission from the trustees to have two leases and the right to build on the ground above the road. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2351]
