PROTOCOL OF APPEAL by John Jones, of Jesus College Oxford, B.A., a descendant of the Right Reverend Father in God Henry Rowlands, Lord Bishop of Bangor, before Herbert Beaver, Notary Public, of Oxford. John Jones is appealing against the appointment of John Williams to a Fellowship created by Henry Rowlands aforesaid, to benefit persons of the school of Beaumaris [Biwmares], Bottwnog [Botwnnog] and Bangor, but especially his own ’blood’ descendents.
