LETTER: Henry Kennedy, Bangor, to Lord Newborough. The costs for the church are much higher than he thought, and he comments that he thinks the church is on something of a large scale. The basement and catacombs, with slate burial cells, would cost about £2300. He could save £400 or more by using thick flags from Llanllyfni between the pillars. The slate burial cells could be put under the transepts alone. He would however like to discuss things in person.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
