LETTER: George Bettiss to Messrs. Farrers and Co. at Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London, concerning accounts of 1804-1805 of the Newborough Volunteer Regiment required by the War Office. Lord Newborough died in 1807, and the colonel, the adjutant, the paymaster, the sergeant major and the adjutant’s clerk are all dead now, so a more satisfactory account cannot be drawn up by the late Lord Newborough’s representatives. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2392]
