LETTER: Poor Law Board, Whitehall, to William Owen, Clerk to the Guardians of the Llanrwst Union, Penisardre, Llanrwst, stating that the Order (18 Jan. 1867) for Bardsey Island did not affect the parish of the Abbey. They felt that the Guardians should immediately take the necessary steps to enforce of Order of Contributions on the Overseer of the parish of the Abbey which must contribute towards the fund in proportion to its rateable value like all the other parishes in the Union.
