LETTER: C.E. Spooner, Tuhwntirbwlch, Porthmadog, to Lord Newborough re a railway from Duffws to Rhiwmachno with connections with Messrs. Cassons’ quarries, the Votty, Craig Ddu, Ffridd and the Cambrian Company. He had written to his Lordship in March to ask his Lordship about the line. He discusses the amount of compensation which would be paid and asks if his Lordship will give his consent.
