LETTER: J. Goddard at Caernarfon to Lord [Newborough], sending a copy of the Order of the Trustees together with the required plan. Attached: COPY ORDER (5 July 1839) of Trustees of the Caernarvonshire Old Turnpike Trust at a Quarterly meeting that the site of the old road at the diversion by Glyn-iwrch to be given to Lord Newborough in exchange for land given by him to form the new road there; and that a copy of the order together with a plan, and reference authenticated by a signature of the surveyor of the Trust be delivered to him, and a document to record the exchange.
